Lancaster University to Host High-Level Conference for African University Leaders in June 2026

Lancaster University will welcome senior leaders from African universities for a transformative three-day conference this summer. The High-Level Conference for the Governing Council and Management Teams of African Universities will take place from June 22 to June 24, 2026, on Lancaster’s UK campus.

Jointly facilitated by Global Skills Hub UK and Lancaster University, the event is designed to strengthen leadership, governance and strategic planning across African higher education institutions. Delegates will include Vice Chancellors, Pro-Chancellors, Registrars, and Council Members, representing universities from across the continent.

Themed “Management–Council Relationship in a University: Strategic and Practical Considerations,” the programme will feature:
